Missing Ham Lasagne?

We managed to pop out this evening and visit the Astikzhan supermarket. I can’t put my finger on why exactly I prefer this chain to the others in Astana, but the selection is normally pretty palatable to a Westerner, the aisles are big enough to fit two trolleys side by side, and there aren’t normally queues at the tills. Unfortunately, the Argentinian lasagnes haven’t been stocked for months now, and a couple of brands of beers are no longer to be found. It looks as though the opportunities for sampling ham lasagne are quickly disappearing, some beers however can be found, as well as my favourite (though not very manly) tipple – Drive (vodka and fizzy orange pre-mixed). We now need to start thinking about finishing the contents of our cupboards, as it is only three and half weeks until we leave 🙂
