Anna’s Paperwork Sorting Pictures

btw just discovered that A Scanner Darkly (the film) is a lot more followable if you’re not drunk at the time. I read the book a while ago, and even Keanu Reeve’s acting is not putting me off this time.

Video Of Anna Sorting Some Paperwork
I’ll have to double check, but I don’t think any of these clips involve music playing in the background 🙂
It was recorded on the 13th of December, when Anna decided that some of the papers lying around were due to be processed prior to being recycled thrown in the bin as Kazakhstan hasn’t yet got around to implementing any sort of recycling system.
Anna is being told “ah-ah” to eating the paper, the tearing up part is allowed.

Not Quite Pre-Shrunk
11th of November saw Anna trying on some new clothes, to check if she had grown into any yet. Apparently she has a way to go before the Thailand t-shirt fits snugly 🙂

Anna Goes Swimming!
Shot on the 9th and 11th of November, these pictures were taken when Anna was having her week long session of swimming lessons. We shot some video of a lesson as well, but the teacher asked us to not publish it online, as she is worried others will try to teach babies without any proper training. I’m hoping these photos won’t be a problem for her though. She travelled quite far from another city to Astana, and there was quite a lot of interest from other parents wanting their children to feel comfortable in the water.

Learning A New Skill
With Anna’s teeth slowly appearing, we decided it would be a good idea for her to get used to the idea of having a toothbrush in her mouth. Obviously cleaning them is a good idea anyway, but the sooner she is comfortable with what seems like a mini version of her hair brush tickling her gums, the better. She took to the concept very well, and as long as she is allowed to brush her teeth after we have done the first circuit, she is patient enough most of the time.
The photos were taken on the 8th of November.

At John And Inessa’s In November
I can’t honestly remember right now if we took photos when we went over on Christmas Day, but these shots were taken on the 6th of November, when we were kindly invited round for a meal. Nicole did a great job of looking after Anna whilst we were eating, and baby Sophie behaved very well. It was really good to catch up, and was a taste of things to come as they kindly had us all over again on Christmas Day.

Exploring New Lands
Following on from the post with pictures from the 4th of November, here we have three videos shot around the same time. You can see how she still liked to travel in reverse when the need arised, and that the cushions at the time were still in place around some areas of the living room. By the looks of it, Muska had not yet noticed the kitchen was no longer Anna-safe, and decided to hide under the table to see what would happen.
