Someone has apparently uploaded the video (unreleased, as they later changed the script when I was no longer around to re-record) I did a voice over for last year. I’m still trying to find the other film (on transport policies) that they did publish, but for now, have a listen to my dulcet tones explaining all about Social Entrepreneurship in Kazakhstan. Don’t laugh too hard, and don’t blame me for the occasional lack of sync between my words and the images on screen – I had never seen the film to which I’m applying my voice at the time of recording!
I’m also hoping to find an online copy of the voiceover work I did with DanD a month back, on Religious Tolerance in Kazakhstan.

Very impressive – lots of big words too !

The big words I didn’t have a problem with, it was some of the town names that caused a few retakes. The transport video had even more names in it to goof up!

This is awesome, I’m genuinely impressed. So was this one aired on tv or not? What a cool job to land, you have a god voice for it I reckon. Mat keeps trying to get me to apply for a job as a tv extra in Home & Away or something as they periodically advertise for extras in the local paper. I’m too chicken though!

Chris, Hammer Films are looking to re-vamp their image too

@Alex – “(unreleased, as they later changed the script when I was no longer around to re-record)”, so nope, this one will never see the light of day outside YouTube and this blog. TBH, I don’t think the new version of the video will be cut down into an advert or played in its entirety except for business presentations. The transport one I have no idea at all, probably enough business one, but the religious tolerance video may get used in the real world. Perhaps closer to next July? Extra in Home & Away? Just so long as you’re not as cheesy as Michael Palin was all those years ago! btw, I’m assuming you meant a good voice, not god like? Anyway, I think it would be fair to say I have a good face for radio/voice-overs 🙂
@John – that one was like a 747, sorry. (Went right over my head).
