More Melnitza

Couple of quick videos from the same day (23rd June 2010) as the pictures were taken. Anna seems to decide that one of the flowers in the waitress’ traditional Ukrainian costume would suit her better. Then she sits at the table like a big girl on a normal chair, and helps Babushka with her camera. I’m pretty sure I’ve gone into detail about Melnitza‘s food and service before, and not much had changed (which is a good thing) when we visited, so check out the Eating Out In Kazakhstan category for more information.

      Batteries, memory card filling up too quickly with videos and so no space left for photos, and actually enjoying time together mean longer clips just don’t happen that often. I could just not include the shorter ones, but then there would be a lot less of Anna for friends and family back home to see.

    hats with commenting on a note that is weeks old? 🙂 If you're referring to the glut of picture links, it was because I'd been meaning to drip feed them into FB for months, but never got around to it. I liked some of them a lot and still wanted to share them, so decided to do them all in one go…

    h….. just checked my profile page. NO idea how that happened. I'm assuming a plug-in on my server had a hiccup and sent old posts again for some reason. Very weird.

    K, only a few of them. The 18 you're referring to (I didn't bother counting, but sounds about right, were indeed items I'd kept as unread in Google Reader and wanted to finally get rid of.
