I thought it was appropriate that I was asked to do a guest post on a blog called Everthenomad. Anja, who runs the blog asked me to write about some of my favorite places to go. I thought it would be fun to write about some of the lesser known attractions rather than just discussing Almaty and Astana. So check out my post on going off the beaten path in Kazakhstan and feel free to add suggestions either here or there.

Kazkhstan-based readers of this blog who use Megaline will probably either need to use the Turbo mode in Opera, or a proxy server (a quick google will reveal hundreds) to read the blogspot blog.
Just a quick pointer for anyone thinking the site was down.
Off to check if Opera is installed on this installation of Windows yet.
My last comment resulted in a 500 error. Will this one get through?
No, it won’t. It will go to the spam folder just like the other one!
