I know you’ve been wondering who the most beautiful policewoman in Kazakhstan is this year. The Ministry of the Interior has held its annual Lady Kazakh Police competition and the winner is Lana Mukhamedyanova of Karaganda City. Actually the contest takes into account career achievement as well as looks.

Ms. Mukhamedyanova works in the investigation department of the Interior Department of Karaganda, specializing in apartment fraud, and has experience in the narcotics department as well. She is a graduate of the Karaganda Law Institute, is an excellent markswoman, and speaks Italian among other languages. She dreams of working with Interpol.

The Lady Kazakh Police competition is held once a year and winners are announced around the 8th of March (International Women’s Day). All female employees of the Ministry or departments of the interior are eligible and must send in their photograph and information about their work and achievements.

Looks like the policewomen in Kazakhstan are ready to show their softer side. Of course, one wonders how seriously they will be taken by male criminals with these sorts of trends.
