Just caught this report over on the BBC World news channel.
Apparently the American government and GreenPeace (for differring reasons) is not very happy at the prospect of KazAtomProm (the Kazakh Nuclear Company) wanting to buy an 8% stake in an American company, WestingHouse Nuclear.
KazAtomProm is a Kazakh state company that produces Uranium. Anyway, here is the report itself…
On a related subject, I found a video on the BBC website reporting that Kazakhstan has announced plans to build a uranium enrichment facility in conjunction with Russia. Here is the direct video link. If that direct link does not work, or you have a dial up connection to the internet, you could try the following official link instead.

Hi! Was to lazy to watch report, sure it is boring…
But what is the problem, if KZ will share holder?
Perhaps, it could be beneficial to the both sides.
Regards.

1) Bit rude just assuming a video was boring, isn’t it?
2) Interesting opinion, though I think your view is restricted to perhaps the financial/general economic side of things… Others are looking at the security side of things
3) Snovum Goddum (excuse my appalling transliteration, on a UK keyboard right now…)

1) A bit?! A lot! 🙂 Sorry, just was guessing, without watching. 🙂
2) What kind of security it could be, if KZ going to work with China on the same topic, perhaps Iran maybe on its way. I assuming that security would be better exactly if KZ will became a share holder. Well, politics, politics…
Just guessing… KZ as itself not a treat (threat?), if work it right, I still think it would be beneficial for the both sides. Even security wise…
3)Happy Hollydays to you and your family! Hope you will have a wonderfull time!
Regards.
