Just taken our car for its 1st MOT. Drive in, brake check, open bonnet, check lights work, is there an engine? Drive out, 3 minute job!

    Its mad isn’t it ? !! I drove halfway across the steppe (free MOT from where I bought the car insurance) — in/out in minutes .. emissions? what emissions?

      I’m glad that the place we visited did actually test the brakes, but when he told us to drive out, I honestly thought we’d have to drive round the block (they have an entrance and exit one-way system within the garage) and come back in again for the next test. Re emissions, can you imagine some of the older buses/Kamaz trucks getting past that?
