    Ok, it is morning – and I have not had enough coffee yet – but I do not understand what this woman has done? Written names on goods?

    The BBC article explains the background – she basically writes the name of the child who buys sweets/crisps etc. on the product itself. If the empty packet is found on the floor, ie not in a bin, we know who the litter lout is.
