after going there (after a handful of beverages), I went home noticing my jeans and jacket suitably smelling of smoke, after thinking that wouldn’t happen after a night out in Astana anymore…

Sorry that your nasal passages were once more insulted. On a more positive note, I got to smoke and drink at the same time 🙂
Seriously, it was interesting to see so many Turk(or at least Turkish looking) men in one place, and to see them dancing together and enjoying themselves was an experience.
