Anna had already decided by the 18th of November that being spoon fed all her food was not the way to go, and that food should usually be manually inspected before being allowed past her lips. She has purées less often now, and quite often has what we are eating, if there is no salt or sugar added, or high in the ingredient list of the original parts of the meal.

She definitely enjoys spreading the food around, and the last week or two she has really started pointing at specific things she wants. Less guesswork for us, and hopefully less stress for her, wondering why her stupid parents can't work out she wants XYZ 🙂 She just had her hair (well, fringe) cut for the first time ever, her mother-in-law thinks she looks younger now.
