news.google.com blocked?

If anyone else in Kazakhstan reads this, could you do me a favour? Try and visit news.google.com and let me know if it works for you. I can’t currently access Google’s main news server. I first noticed a week or so ago that the server appeared to be down. However, as it is still unavailable, and the news.google.co.uk domain works fine, I’m beginning to wonder if there is either a technical issue, or perhaps some draconian blocking going on…

    I just got in for what its worth.

    I haven’t looked at the site in months, or maybe a couple of years - can’t say I’ve missed much!

    I can get back into both the co.uk and com variants right now, so perhaps it is a technical issue from our wonderful ISP, rather than anything too draconian…

    Ahhhhhhh, unlimited internet, I have missed it sooooo much. Obviously for downloading public domain material and browsing only :) Now, where did that stack of blank DVDs go?
