Location And Alcohol Level

Some friends have asked will I be present at the birth, or getting very drunk in a bar somewhere. I’m hoping to be conscious, in the delivery room with Irina. Having promised no live webcasts for the delivery itself already, it didn’t seem like too much of an issue to drop the whole camcorder idea altogether. We are still taking the stills camera, so we can grab a few clips on that as well. I think I just wanted to have a nice quality record of the first few precious moments. Now I’m beginning to realise that getting it all digitally recorded or attempting live videocasting to Kazakhstan would all just take me away from the beauty of the moment. Once we’re back at home, I’ll try and update friends with news as and when I can.
