I’m sorry, I read it and tried to think of a way I could feel sorry for the poor multi-millionaires. It just didn’t work.
If someone has been producing records for more than 50 years, it is a fair assumption they’ve got a little tucked away somewhere. You can make convincing moralistic arguments for equal treatment between composers and performers maybe, but the way some MPs appeared to crawl in other reports was a little stomach churning.
Much like Cliff Richard’s ego the last couple of decades…
