Rather than digging the garden, I took out a fair amount of garden rubbish to the big bin out front. Didn’t think to take the phone out of my pocket. HTC Kaiser (TyTn II) now fubarred. The screen must have been smashed against the buckets.

Really gutted, but only got myself to blame, I’d had it in the pocket so I could listen to some music whilst digging. Luckily I’d kept my last two phones prior to the Kaiser, so I’ve got a backup to use for my Kazakh SIM, and another for my UK SIM. Will look into getting a replacement screen, keyboard (the H and S keys ‘went’ very early on its life) and reqd. tools. Then have to trust the Kazakh postman to actually deliver them. Its either that or waiting until Xmas and asking several family members to buy a joint present. 🙁 indeed.
On the + side, Anna is healthy and well, so that sort of puts a cracked LCD in prespective 🙂
