Northern Lights maybe? That would be awesome. ‘Tis one of the items on my things to do before I die list – see the Aurora Borealis!
Or maybe it’s nasty polutenty chem trails? (Ask my brother about that one)!

  2. ChrisM says:

I doubt it was, I don’t think we’re up North enough. Would be cool if they were visible here though, definitely.
Chem trails? Not enough activity in the skies around here, I’d hazard a guess. Yes, I’ve seen your bro mention them a few times, whilst calling any sceptics ‘sheeple’ 🙂

Mat and a few of his mates were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights from Minchinhampton common once when they were chilling out one evening. I was sceptical when he told me but apparently it is possible if the atmospheric conditions are just right and it was in the paper so others saw it too. Lucky bastard!

Lol, I love the word sheeple!

From the UK? wow, hadn’t realised it was possible. I dislike the word sheeple, it seems to indicate (when over used by the same person) a lack of imagination or a tendency to assume someone’s characteristics without considering the reason they may have a contradictory view to you.

I know, pretty amazing – so do you think it could have been the Northern Lights? Was it rippling and stuff?

Yes, you have a point. If used in the correct frame of reference though, I think it’s a cool word.

No idea, I don’t have enough knowledge on the matter, but a mildly educated guess would be no – the lighting effect was too big for just a few buildings to be reflected off the clouds, but from the pictures and videos I’ve seen of the northern lights, they seem to be a lot more… panoramic? Not sure if I’m using the right word, but basically this light seem pretty localized, and not a big wavy thing. Yes, that is a much better phrase to use. lmao.
