Biathalon? Who Cares?
Global Voices Online has a report up on the reaction to Kazakhstan’s silver medal. Citing the post on Adam Kesher’s LJ (RUS) about how Kazakhstan seemed to be indifferent to the silver medal we won this year in Vancouver, Global Voices reviews some comments. Is it indifference to our country, indifference to the Winter Olympics, lack of pride in a single silver medal? Do only Fascists make a big noise about their nation? Or is Adam Kesher just plain wrong? Are Kazakhs proud of their Olympic team?
