There was an article on facebook a week or two ago calling attention to the untreated waste / landfills just north of the city near the villiage I was living in the past 6 months.
Which was really no surprise. With no garbage collection services, everyone has their own personal landfill right next to the coast line.
Nice. I mean I grew up swimming in Long Island Sound but at least then we knew what we were getting ourselves into.
