Passing gas is Kazakhstan’s property
I believe they meant to say “transporting natural gas”. By the way, does this article make Kazakhstan Today liable for embarrassing the President? After all, they did make it sound like he discussed flatulence. And the fact that Kazakhstan is behind in the farting gap: “Passing gas is not mentioned in any of the contracts, or in the production sharing agreement. Some countries have already done it”

One of the tourist promotional materials I saw here in Turkey actually invited guests to the local hot springs spa to “come and relieve yourselves in our pools.” I doubt they meant it quite the way it sounded.

I think it’s referring to the flaring of sour gas, not natural gas transit.
So the headline is actually more accurate than it would appear.
That would explain the mistake a bit better as well.
