Retire Abroad

Retire Abroad is a surprisingly useful resource for expats. Although it’s targeted at people looking to retire to another country, it has great information and resources about life in general as well as statistical trends and stories. I was very interested in seeing where Kazakhstan and other countries stood in the Gini coefficient (income inequality) and in Consumer Power of Purchasing tables.
The author also has excellent taste as he recently wrote a kind post about KZBlog!

Man this is totally our dream. Although we are moving back to the states in a few weeks our dream is to retire to the beautiful hill country around Almaty to start some sort of a small farm. Where the kid’s can come back and visit us in the ‘ old ‘ country.
