If you have children, or a younger brother or sister, and have not yet thought what to get them for Christmas, there is a British web site that specialises in producing Bedroom Door Signs with a twist - they are basically novelty number plates. Of course, you do not have to use them as a sign for a door, they can be placed anywhere signs are normally affixed. (Please note that the majority of them would NOT be suitable for use on a car that is being driven on a public highway, though for car shows etc., they would add a special look to your motor.)
The procedure for creating your own sign is quite simple, you choose the background you want, the main text (with the normal attributes you want (font,size, colour etc.), and any smaller text as well. One step that could do with some improvement is the choosing of the background image - right now they are listed with their original filename, rather than a description. The navigation menu at the top is also obscured by the plate customization process (tested in both Internet Explorer 7 and FireFox 2.0.0.8). Apart from that, the process was quite intuitive.
