Onto a slightly lighter topic for now, though continuing in tonight’s unintended theme of video-based posts, we have here a clip of a track by Boxettes. For those that have been reading this blog for a while, you may well remember I embedded a few clips of the beat boxer Shlomo back in 2007 and 2008 (you can find the later one here), anyway, Shlomo is involved with the Boxettes, and they are currently looking to replace one of their members who will be leaving soon. Whether you enjoy faithfully reproducing the sounds of a steel drum with your vocal chords, laying down a bass track without the faintest whiff of catgut or layering your noises until it sounds like you have a studio full of instruments, google Boxettes and Shlomo, and apply for the position.
