Virtually Stealing Leads To Really Being Arrested

I admit the article’s title caught my attention quite well, however this case really boils down to people conning users into handing over their account names and passwords. This crime is not new, however I find it slightly surprising that people are still willing to hand out such information.
Once the alleged criminals had the information required to access the victim’s account, they proceeded to ’steal’ virtual furniture from within the 3-D social networking site, and place it in their own rooms to officially gain possession of it, the article is not clear however it sounds like they then sold this furniture. This would be a nuisance on any system, however this ‘furniture’ cost the rightful owners money - real world, hard earned cash!
