Vingt-et-Un

At school, during lunch breaks or particularly dull lessons, there would usually be a few card games going on. Although I never really got the hang of poker, blackjack (you may also see it referred to as Vingt-et-un or 21, depending on your location (though there is a small difference when it comes to a two card hand totalling 21)) was a lot more easy to win at, I found.
As previously forecast on this blog, the backgammon company called Backgammon Masters have now added Blackjack to their list of games accessible through their All in One application. Previously poker, perudo (liar’s dice) and of course backgammon were available, with Jean Claude the tiger on hand to offer advice. Now that Blackjack has been added, some experts predict a 300% increase in members to the system. Given that there are already thousands of like minded people playing, this can only result in more opportunities to try your hand at your favourite game, and all from within one program.
When playing, you can add to the atmosphere of a real life casino by engaging in chat with the other players at your table, or of course if you prefer to play the strong and silent role at a table, there is no compulsion to talk at all. Combine this with the fact that you can watch a table to see if you fancy your chances against the existing players, before joining, and you can see why many people have already downloaded the software. To mark the launch of the addition of Blackjack to their suite of games, the company is organizing free tournaments to entice players to join in.
