Two Years Old Today!

Back on the 20th July 2006, I wrote the first post (incredibly originally entitled Introduction) for this site. So two years later, this blog has seen 53729 visitors, who have had the opportunity to read 1869 posts (if you include this one), leaving a total of 834 comments – though that figure does include any answers I may have left in reply. I have seen the Google Page Rank start off at 0, grow to 4, and then thanks to Google’s dislike of sponsored links (other than their own), back down to 0. The Alexa rank obviously started off as simply ‘no data’, steadily improved to below 600,000, bounced around a little, hitting a peak of just over 200,000 last year, and now hovering around the one million mark. To all those that have been regularly visiting, and to those new to the site, have a look round, don’t forget the static pages linked to at the top, and always feel free to leave a comment.
