As long term readers may recall, last year AlexC came over to Kazakhstan, and we tried to make sure she saw at least a few things that were interesting. One of the events was a kokpar match that the President attended, (a bit like polo, but played with a goat carcass, and wrestling!), they also had a display of horse-based acrobatics and some races. Being so far from America, I can’t see me receiving any Kentucky Derby party invitations anytime soon.
