The backgammon company, BackgammonMasters, is continuing its support for the boxer Roman Greenberg. As you may remember from an earlier post on this blog, they have already bought a pair of his shorts, and then auctioned them off for charity. Now they are continuing their support, helping to sponsor Roman. Mr Greenberg is scheduled to fight Damon Reed on the 18th August this year, in Salt Lake City. (More specifically the South Town Exhibition Center in Sandy).

Although Ramon is relatively inexperienced, compared to Mr Reed, his stats certainly appear better on paper, with 25 fights under his belt, 17 of which were KOs - and no losses! When stacked against Damon’s 11 losses from 43 fights, it looks as though this should be a fight to remember. On the same night, three other headlining names will be fighting, meaning a sure night of entertainment for spectators, be they in situ, on at home, watching it on their favourite pay per view TV channel.
