Bush Tribute Smells A Bit Off

Category: In The MediaChrisM @ 1:54 am

With their tongues firmly planted in their cheeks, a group in San Francisco wants to ‘honour’ George W. Bush by naming a sewage treatment plant after him!

If the Presidential Memorial Committee of San Francisco’s petition is found to include enough valid and unique signatures, then the proposed naming would be put to a vote in November, at the same time as other Americans are voting for their new president. Check out the original article here.

Amsterdam Tour – On A Segway!

Category: Amsterdam,VideosChrisM @ 5:22 am

OK, I will try and make this the last of the Amsterdam videos tonight, but this one really did catch me eye…

Yes, for some unfathomable reason, a group of people took their segways§ and went on a tour of Amsterdam, including inside shops! This may be accepted and possible in areas of NYC, but it looks as though shop keepers and security staff in Amsterdam do not feel the same way! Please note there are shots of women in Bikinis, whilst the segwayers are touring the Red Light District, but nothing worse than you will see at the beach.

§ – If you have not come across them before, they are the form of transport that George W Bush managed to fall off. This despite the fact that they are designed to always self right! So what form of acrobatics or G-Force was he pulling to be able to defeat the segway in question? He did not turn it on first. LMAO.

Bush Hands Presidential Powers Over…

Category: PersonalChrisM @ 11:12 pm

For a couple of hours, before any readers get too excited. He transferred power to Dick Cheney for a period of two hours, when George W. Bush was checked for cancer of the colon. It was previously discovered that he had 5 polyps during a routine colonoscopy. Initial comments were made that it is not though likely the growths were cancerous, though obviously they will be tested.
Unlike after the attempted assassination of Reagan, the 25th amendment was used. It basically states that if the President is incapacitated there can be a temporary transfer of presidential powers to the vice president. This means that key decisions, if there is an urgent requirement to make them, is made by an elected official – when Reagan was doped up to the eyeballs on medication, a team of ‘advisers’ took it upon themselves to basically run the nation, with Reagan simply told to sign his name to anything presented to him.
