Solar Power

With the instability in various oil and gas producing regions, companies and people are starting to take renewably sourced energy more seriously. One thing that always surprises me here in Kazakhstan is the lack of solar panels on residential home’s roofs. The idea of using Solar water heating, for example, in a country that receives a lot of sunshine during the summer, seems to me to be a good at least in principle.
Compared to just ten years ago, technology has progressed a great deal, meaning that not only is the initial investment required a lot less, but the actual energy transformed from solar to usable home heating or electricity generating energy has improved, in terms of efficiency. This means you can either achieve the same amount of usable energy with a smaller surface area of solar panels required, or if preferred, use the same size panels as you would have needed to a decade ago, but actually produce a lot more engergy.
If you are specifically interested in the heating aspect of solar energy, be it whole house heating, or just how water producing, click the link above to learn more, and to see what types of systems are available. It will only take a few minutes, could end up saving you money each and every year, and is a better solution for slowing down climate change.
