It has been seven days since Ira’s first due date for our daughter, and six days since I stopped smoking cigarettes. That was my limit it seems, as I stomped off to the shop this morning to get a pack. Obviously it would have been wonderful if I had given up completely, but nearly a week off the fags at least has some small financial & health benefit.
