I originally wondered if the following first poster was a complete mock up, rather than the left hand version being an original, with the right hand side being the reply. However, the British Transport Police’s version appeared online back in August of 2008 here, and no one seems to be questioning the authenticity of it since then, so I am assuming it really was used at some point in London. Being vigilant is one thing, but the examples they use do seem to encourage some people to be paranoid and waste police time…
