Since starting this blog, my knowledge has grown enormously, in areas diverse as PHP, graphic design (to a very small degree
), CHMODing files on my server via FTP commands, to SSIs (Server Side Includes). However, this increase in knowledge has caused me to want to find out a lot more, within the subjects I am starting to get a handle on, as well as new areas I had never previously considered.
Luckily, in many areas within the IT Community, knowledge is something to be shared freely, without any restriction. DiscussWeb.com is one such example of this sort of information resource.
Forums are a two way process - one day you may come across something you have not encountered before, and want to know if anyone else can lend a hand in your quest for underlying processes causing you issues. The next day, someone else may well post a thread asking for help in a matter that you are well experienced with, and so the karma like process continues.
So, whether you have an interest in server management, web design, database designing, Search Engine Optimization or simply promotion techniques for your latest project, give the forum a try, and see just what you can learn.
