Secure Compression

For any long term PC users, I’m sure you’ll remember the PKZip executable from DOS days. The last time I used it, they had version v2.04g, and considering the speed of the PCs back then (I was on a ‘zippy’ 386sx 16MHz PC!!!), it worked well, had a lot of useful options, and saved a lot of disks from being wasted. It compressed files into a more managable size, and is the grand daddy, in terms of generations, of today’s Windows compression programs.

So, I’m sure you can imagine I was reassured to see that www.securezip.com has PKWare behind - the company who originally produced PKZIp.

So, with the other existing competitors, why should you choose SecureZIP - The next generation of ZIP? Firstly, the part I’m assuming will interest you most is that you can (for a limited time), download the application for FREE - all you need to do is give them an e-mail address, and all your data security woes will soon be over.

How so? Well, SecureZIP can automatically encrypt your files, then, if required, digitally sign, and compress your files, e-mails and attachments. As it fully integrates into Outlook, you’ll find your work-flow isn’t adversely effected at all.

If you check the Privacy report at the well respected OReilly site, they recommend using SecureZip to ensure your data remains secure and private.

So given that you can save bandwidth, ensure your privacy, and the program is currently available for FREE, what do you have to lose? Go and download it today!
