My back has finally settled down again after the mysterious strain it picked up on our last day in Amsterdam. Whilst recovering, I was reminded of one of the first jobs I had - paperboy. Come wind, rain or snow, you would find me delivering newspapers to people who would throw out half the sections without even reading them. It always seemed like a waste of my energy, and trees to find holiday, motoring and horse supplements in the papers, when so many times the paper would go straight to the bin, never even making it as far as the local paper recycling bank.
