I am still taking Russian lessons once or twice a week, and we are currently studying how to tell the time in Russian. It gets a little confusing, with different endings on words, and a different way of expressing the time. For example, we would call 10:05 five past ten in English, but in Russian, that is normally stated as 5 minutes into the 11th hour. (If that confuses you, look at it this way, at 1:05, you have already completed one hour of the day, so you must be part way into the second hour already…)
The company that my Russian teacher works for is looking to branch into a similar line of work as Walton, so I’ve passed his contact details onto her, in the hope that he can get a little paid consultancy work there. One other aspect they want looked after is a web site. I will come up with a rough estimate on how much it would cost to set a site up, and the ongoing monthly costs etc. involved.
If she lived in Calafornia, she could well be looking for a San Diego web design company, however I’m hoping I may be able to make a little money myself.
Something To Do…
