If it wasn’t for the Twitter name specifically spelt out above the heel, I’d actually quite like these trainers. Without the brand name there, I think it would be subtle enough that the only people likely to recognise the origin of the concept would appreciate it. I do actually need some new trainers for this Summer (no point in wearing anything other than boots or proper shoes in Astana until all the ice has melted, and preferably most of the big puddles evaporated away), but I’ve yet to see this particular pair in the real world, just online. It looks as though the twitter word is part of the fabric, rather than something you could unpick and remove; if they’d just remove it, I’d give Nike 6.0 out of 6.0 for the design. As it stands, it just makes for a pretty picture.
