When ever we go to a friend of Irina’s parents, we always have a great meal, then the men go downstairs to the den, and drink some more, smoke and play pool. One of the great things about pool tables is that no language is required to use it - pick the pool cue up, whack the ball around, and hope it eventually goes in a pocket.
