I have checked over some of the photos and discussions being hosted over at the Pates Reunion Facebook Group, and it looks like the event went as planned – people met old friends, listened to our old head teacher, and got incredibly drunk. Sounds like nothing really changed that much in a decade or so really!
Alex and I obviously could not make it to the reunion, obviously, as we were in Kazakhstan at the time, but as we are both on Facebook, we have been able to make contact with a few people there, some of whom I have not heard from in years. I was really happy when Zanya popped up, and hope her life is going well over there. If she ever happens to read this, your god son looks adorable 🙂
