Paris Penal Plight

Do they allow inmates to play backgammon in jail? If Paris Hilton needs to find an activity to while away the hours, then Backgammon Masters appear to be ready to help…

As most inhabitants of the planet earth will have discovered, Paris was (originally) sentenced to 45 days prison for driving, whilst under a ban for drink driving. Real clever there.
Since then, her sentence has been halved, so she may not need to worry about missing too many important parties. Do you think backgammon will help distract her, or simply overload her brain? Whatever the case, she will find a personalized board on its way, assuming the prison authorities do not find any files or prison blueprints hidden inside it :)
If, by some twisted legal wrangling, Paris Hilton ends up serving no time at all, Backgammon Masters have promised to auction the customized board off for charity.

So, what do you think of this ploy - a company using a star’s stupidity to get a little publicity boost, an honest attempt to stave off an ‘It’ girl’s boredom whilst incarcerated, or simply an attempt to further the buzz surrounding backgammon right now?

Oh, and sorry about the attention grabbing post title, but it worked didn’t it?
