Will the American Healthcare Reform plan be Obama’s Waterloo? With some companies such as Blue Cross Blue Shield NC (North Carolina) paying for advertising campaigns to inform the American public why exactly some people see the reforms as a bad idea, and other organizations have a different opinion, suggesting that the country needs these reforms as soon as possible. Beyond watching Sicko (Diagnosis Murder, Quincy, ER and Grey’s Anatomy count even less, I’m sure), my knowledge of the intricacies of the health care system over there is very rudimentary. Now that the Democrats have lost their filibuster proof super majority, it will be interesting to see what compromises will be offered to try and promote the passing of the bill.
