Newsagent Ran Out Again?

When I still lived in Cheltenham, I’d always have to remember which date my favourite magazines came out.
If I didn’t get to the shop within a few days, they often would have sold out, meaning I’d either miss that months edition, or have to travel further afield to source a copy.
Now, I’m sure all my British friends & other readers have found adverts dropping out of your favourite magazine, and probably binned them immediately. Some will have been for cheap loans, others promoting dubious products. However, I often noticed the magazine’s own subscription leaflet, as I was throwing everything in the bin.
If you ever find yourself in the situation of wanting to subscribe to a magazine, I’d recommend visiting Compare Magazines, a Magazine subscriptions website. They keep records of all the current subscriptions available, often from different suppliers. You may well find that different suppliers have slightly differing deals or promotions.
For example, when I checked on PC Format, I found one supplier only has 12 month subscriptions for UK residents, however the other possibility had the full range - 3 or 12 months for UK residents, and 12 months for EU & Worldwide residents.

So whether you are looking for a Grazia subscription, a GQ subscription or maybe a Time subscription, you now know where to go!

One thing I’d recommend, personally, is to change their slogan on the homepage - “Do not search around - this is an ideal place to find the cheapest magazine subscription!” - I think they need to emphasise that Compare Magazines does the searching FOR you. Otherwise this can sound like it is suggesting that a search isn’t necessary at all, rather than not necessary for YOU to do any more.
Just my thoughts…
