We almost have all our lighting sorted in the flat now - we just need to get the main light fitting in the living room working again, and the ‘reading’ light in the bathroom and hallway light installed. We have the fixtures themselves, but as I am not too handy with a drill, we need to find a good electrician to fit them.
Once complete, we will have lighting in all the right places, and I made a list of the dozen or so different types of light bulbs to make sure we have enough spare to at least swap out each bulb once when it blows. This has lead to a large collection of bulky boxes, that the kittens need to be kept away from.
Although none of the lighting would be defined as fine art lamps, I think Ira made some really good decisions in what to place where, and to have only had two units fail is not too bad a success rate in this country.
