The site UnSigned.com features a wide variety of genres from Ska to Electronica Artists. I personally found a band that looks interesting to me - Syonide. They hail from Tewksbury, which is just a few minutes from my old home in Cheltenham. One of the great features at Unsigned Enterntainment is the ability to listen to an artisit’s/band’s music. In Syonide’s case, the fact they used a pocket-sized four track recorder does stand out somewhat, however, the next time I’m back in the UK, I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for any gigs they may be playing at. If only Mistys or the Axiom centre were still in business, I can imagine this band going down a storm there.

Whilst in their Beta stages, Unsigned.com appear to have taken to heart their tester’s views & wishes. They have already implemented a great deal of the requests, and you can see which features are planned for the near future by visiting this page.

There is one thing that the company needs to pay attention to though. Although I can obviously understand the need to accept advertising on their site to help towards their start up costs, I think they need to make better use of Google Adsense’s competitive filter - some of the ads appear to be direct competitors to www.UnSigned.com .
