OK, I’ve woken myself out of a coma to finish this post. For the first time in a long while, I’m going to be having home-cooked lasagne. Irina found some lasagne pasta sheets a while back, and appears to have recovered well enough from the nasty flu we caught to give it a try.
It is always nice to see a lasagne being made, so you know no one has snuck in any mushrooms. That said, one recipe Ira discovered online claimed carrots were a standard ingredient!

Not bad at all. Ira seemed to enjoy it less than me (needs more sauce and to be coooked in a smaller dish next time apparently), but we still have half a packet of those lasagne sheets left 🙂

On our way to the Abergavenny Food Festival for the weekend – mega gorging and lots of photos. No booze though until I get back to the campsite, as am driving. Grrrrh
