Even though I don't live in Kazakhstan, I think it's a wonderful that the Kazakhstan government had secured that multi-million dollar loan for saving the northern part of the sea. It's definately a good thing when the government is giving back to the environment and not always taking from it.

Now...if all governments across the globe would stand up and share their fortunes together to get rid of this global warming problem, that would be great! I keep reading the reports about the world scientists who got together to speak about the changes in climate and the effects that will happen to the world and humankind.

It's sad to see some leaders standing up for the major changes that we must endure, while others are just in their own world and completely oblivious to the situation that we are now seeing (ie: melting ice in northern parts of the world, sea level rising dramatically, etc).

Watched the news today - about the terrible state of the Aral sea and how a dam had helped a bit.

The price of development / human greed.

Thanks for dropping by my blog.
