Just had our 1st incident in our new car.Parked properly outside local shop,idiot reverses into us&tries to drive off!Car & people all fine.

I behaved like a local when he finally stopped his car and got out. Lots of shouting, arms waving around. Partially because I didn’t know how to swear at him in Russian and explain what he’d done! Nothing (that I can see) done to the car, and Babushka was fine.

uckily there doesn't even seem to be a scratch, let alone a dent. Re. new car, as Ira's parents were contributing 2/3 of the cost, we decided their distrust of local second hand cars wasn't something we'd be able to overturn.
