If you find yourself needing to book hotels in India, then inasra.com is a site that may very well match your needs perfectly.
The approach taken by the company with their site is quite refreshing; rather than overloading you with information from the very start, and displaying multitudes of adverts, you simply select which area you are most interested in, and are then presented with information on each suitable location they have records for. I jumped straight to the camel safari area, as I went on something a little similar over in Dubai a few years ago… I have to admit, the excursions to look quite tempting, and if I can over come my issue with only enjoying what others consider to be boring western meals, I may see if I can persuade my wife to join me on such a trip.
The one (small) niggle I found is that some of the descriptions do have matching formatting with other descriptions on the same page. Whilst this does not create a problem in terms of discovering the pertinent facts for each location, is does tend to detract from the overall graphical impression of the site. Perhaps the outlay will be standardized in the future?
Oh, and the name ‘Inasra’? It derives from India and Asra, which translates from the Hindi language into ’shelter’. So, like the site itself, their name is short, to the point, and really quite descriptive.
