Horse Riding Before Walking?

Category: Anna's PhotosChrisM @ 12:09 am

I’ve never tried horse riding. Never really want to – if I’m not using my own feet, I want somebody (preferably me) to have some sort of definite stop/go pedal arrangement. The idea of trusting an animal to not just throw me off the moment it senses my lack of faith in the whole experience is just too alien. Fair play to those of you who manage and enjoy it, I just don’t feel the urge personally.
Why this shocking revelation? Anna can been seen in the two pictures below (taken on the 23rd September 2009) fine tuning her horse riding skills. Well the second shot looks like she is about to dig into the horse with her new teeth, but over here, that isn’t an unusual thing, so perhaps she is preparing besparmak eating skills, not just trotting along?

fool – its obvious she is baring her teeth to rally the war party – its Anna and the teddies versus all building blocks. Where a wall is built she will destroy, yeeeeeeehaaaaaaa!

Hello Chris and Irina, Salutations Anna! – Ruler of the North, I offer tidings of joy at your realisation as a master of horses, your teddy bear armies rejoyce at the mention of your name and your building block enemies quake in your shadow’s shadow. All hail Anna!

Chris I was wondering, have you already bought Christmas Presents for me and Roz? Because I was thinking, to save on potential postage problems (alliteration! oh I am quite the word smith when half asleep)and in order to make things a little simpler for us both, if we might just exchange cards this year, I will of course get something for Anna – that is not even debate-able. Being a wise sage I decided to have a baby and learn to drive at around the same time.. If you have already then no prob’s, I may need advise on quickest and securist method of postage though 🙂

It’s armistice day to day, was a bit embarresed about the number of people in our generation not wearing a poppy (yes alright that is a meldrew-ism) but what actually annoyed me was the number of children who were asking their parents about the poppies in my shop only to be rebuffed by the parents for interuppting the sale process. I’m not a paticullarly patriotic or conservative with a little c sort of person, but that did annoy me a bit.

This will piss you off Chris… you know how it took you months to choose the pram/puschair.. well it took me and Roz 2 hours! hahaha ha! heee heee! I am doing that thumb on nose and waving thing to you! We went for and mama and papa’s in the end. I think it’s called the ‘switch’. You can have it in 3 postions I think – pram, forward facing pushchair(?) and rear facing pushchair. The real irony being we went in for a cot. The nusery is coming along – we’ve choose the colour for the wall’s – i’d like to point out that on both occasions of colour trial’s I picked (in intial pre-wall disagreement)the most poular colours, and that my first choice, which was on the hoof, of ‘Putting Green’ by Dulux has won. ahhem!

Speak to you soon, love to all, especially Anna x

Hey Chris, I saw the title of this post and thought it was lacking something so here it is:

@Nick – Don’t worry about pressies this year. Irina has faith in the postal system eventually getting things to and from Kazakhstan, I don’t.
We tend to send cards and pressies from UK web sites anyway, so don’t involve any international post. Don’t worry about cards this year btw. We’re going to have a mini-Xmas if/when we arrive in Britain end of Feb/Early March 2010.
It was good seeing you on webcam the other day, and we’ll hopefully be able to chat more often now. Also VERY glad you’ve finally diversified from just Yahoo Messenger 🙂

@Zach – thanks for the recipe, but if we want horsemeat (beshparmark, or however you spell it), we go to Irina’s Mum 🙂 Or a restaurant.
