Homes In The New Fort Dallas Area

If you are in the market for Dallas Fort Worth New Homes, then check out the DFWNewHomes site out.

You can search for houses either via selecting the building company that interests you the most, or a general search based upon your desired house’s minimum stats (style, rooms & size). If you would like to discover information on the builders, there are a set of pages specifically setup for this purpose. If you are a first time buyer, or have not entered the housing market in a while, the site details all the pertinent facts you should bare in mind before selecting your dream home. The site will soon have a section for people that would like to learn a little more about the Dallas Fort Worth area before deciding to live there, so do make sure you check back often.

Once you have all the information you need, you can drill straight down to the actual types of houses each builder is marketing, and check photos, floor plans and a full description for most properties.

Whilst most of the site is well laid out and intuitive to use, one small question did arise. Unless I am missing something, the map on the front page does not appear to be at all interactive. Whilst this is obviously not a problem in itself, I do wonder why the site designer chose to use Flash to create the image, rather than a quicker loading GIF/JPG/PNG? If anyone else discovers I have just been stupid, and not noticed some reason for this design choice, I would genuinely like to hear from you.

[edit]
Hmm, on further investigation, the map does serve a purpose, as when you select a specific builder, the houses they are responsible for appear on the map when you hover your cursor over them. Apologies…

I’m confused as to why this post is in the personal section. Is it really something you researched in your free time and found interesting enough to pass on to friends or is it just an advert?
Apologies if I’m just being ignorant :-)

Thanks for noticing, not quite sure how that one slipped past me…
