If you are in a country where this is celebrated, and happen to be male and attached, make sure you’ve at least bought some flowers (and possibly a gift), congratulated your partner re. International Women’s Day, and bought ink for your printer, so any home made cards don’t require very careful palette selection. (I didn’t learn my lesson from Valentine’s Day, however in my defence our printer at home has ink, but we’re at the in-laws’ !).
